ST. MICHAEL'S CHURCH WAS A PLAIN BUILDING WITH NO STEEPLE OR

STAINED GLASS ~INDOWS.  ANNA L. BUESTER AND INFANT TWINS WAS

THE LAST FUNERAL SERVICE HELD IN THE CHURCH.

 

ST. MICHAEL'S CHURCH MERGED WITH ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH

IN KEWANEE TO FORM THE LUTHERAN CHURCH OF REDEEMER ON SECOND

STREET, KEWANEE.

 

THE OLD ST. MICHAEL'S CHURCH BUILDING WAS LATER MOVED TO THE

KUSTER FARM (NOW DONALD KUSTER, EAST OF CEMETERY) AND TORN

DOWN AND THE LUMBER USED.
